I'm Laura, and this blog is all about following my journey throughout my fashion placement year. I'm originally from west Wales, but moved to Porthcawl in south Wales just before I started secondary school. It was here I found my passion for art and textiles. At the age of 18 I got into Coventry University to do Fashion. So far I've loved it. I've really found what I love doing, which is print, digital art and social media. Fast forward to now, where I'm embarking on my placement year. Currently I am an embroidery assistant to Saveliin Uuskula, and enjoying every second of it.
