Black Friday Approaching...

As Black Fridays approaching, we are really busy at Bottle Blonde trying to prepare. This week I’ve made loads of content, many of which is giving teasers for the deals in order to get people to subscribe to our email list. A lot of the things I’ve been doing is making GIFS for banners, and then resizing it for different mediums such as Facebook, Instagram and email blasts. I’ve learnt how to make images look glitchy, which is one of our main themes for Black Friday this year. The ‘I’m all panic and no disco’ t-shirts have been selling so well this last week, and we‘ve had so many orders I helped make them and prepped them to be dispatched. As these are so popular, we are bringing out slogan sweaters, but before they arrive, I edited the photos of the sweaters with the holographic text on so these could be posted on Instagram.

Outside of Bottle Blonde, I’ve been working on content for my creative Instagrams. I designed a repeatable print a bit different from my normal; this one was inspired by lines and shapes. I resized it so it could be used for a phone wallpaper, and I‘m really pleased with it. I created a simple ‘meraki’ quote, as it’s one of my favourite words. Additionally I created some continuous line art of two cakes, which could be turned into print. Lastly, I continued developing my embroidery skills, by trying all the stitching tutorials Saveliin gave me. Next task will be introducing beading!

(Personal achievement of mine; after months of searching for a job, I finally got one, in Tesco’s!)
