Easter Weekend

In all honesty this week I've had a bit of a break from creativity. I think it's good to be open when you fall into a bit of a rut, as this is especially easy with the coronavirus being with us for over a year now, it can definitely feel hard to motivate yourself.

Since leaving Bottle Blonde, I've been doing embroidery samples with Saveliin. Below shows my finished group of samples that I've done for her. Saveliin's given me a new bunch of samples to do, which I'm planning on starting over Easter weekend, hopefully whilst tucking into some Easter chocolate.

I also finished off some orders this week. I completed two zebra rug mirrors, and a pair of abstract coasters, and sent them all off. This weekend I plan to start my next order, which is a pink, orange and yellow cow print mirror, which I will then photograph and list onto my Etsy. I also started a custom pair of pastel green and purple check coasters.

This week had one of the hottest days in March, so I treated myself to an ice cream in War Memorial Park in Coventry. I'm hoping over the weekend, after some self care I'll be back on track and back to my creative self. But for this week it's been nice to take it easy and reflect.
