Christmas Time and New Years

Christmas this year was crazy busy for me! The last few weeks before Christmas I was working 4 days a week at Tesco and 3 days a week at Bottle Blonde. At Bottle blonde, during mid December I got my new mugs printed out which was fab! I'm so chuffed
with how they turned out. The last couple weeks I went to the studio to help out the girls. I was mainly taping tinsel ready for them to be sewn onto the linings of the jackets. I also helped with cutting out and sewing garment bags for the jackets. Even though I really enjoy doing the social
media, it was great to have a change of scenery, to get hands on practicing my sewing, and to speak to the studio girls who I don't normally see.
Only in the new year have I gotten into my creative groove again. I'm finally finding time to catch up on my embroidery, which I am now aiming to do for at least an hour everyday. These few samples are based off flowers and mushrooms.
I also have started doing line work too,
and am enjoying catching up on this. I'm hoping (depending on covid) that I can go back to screen printing when I finish Bottle Blonde, so these are also in preparation for that.
In other news, Tesco did not keep any of their temps on, which is really unfortunate as I loved my job there. But now I'm on the job hunt again, and really hoping to find one in time for going back to Coventry mid- January.
