Last Week at Bottle Blonde :(

(Navigate Slider Below)

This week was my last week at Bottle Blonde. I've learnt so much and met the most fantastic people so it's so sad to be leaving. Mostly this week I have been helping to sort orders and pack them. I also did some taping of tinsel too. My last day was Thursday. We brought some gin and cupcakes in, and even had a domino's at lunch. We stayed there until 8pm talking, which was really lovely. I also got to make a custom sweater and t-shirt to take home with me as a good bye present. I suggested making a tik tok of peeling the t-shirt, with a soundtrack of the quote over the top, which ended up getting 30.8k views!

I've learnt so much stuff at Bottle Blonde which I'll take back with me into third year. This includes how to run a business social media account, and how to make print and graphics for products. Also I've learned how to take proper product pictures.

This week I've decided to do some product placement pictures for my rugs. I've set up rugs, coasters and a pillow/ mirror rug in the background, to show how my products could look in someones home. I haven't done this before, but I was pretty happy with how they turned out. I've uploaded these to my Etsy and instagram in hopes these will help them to sell.

I've started doing some embroidery for Saveliin this week. Saveliin has sent me some patches to do, which I've done a few of. I am gradually getting better. Now I've finished Bottle Blonde I can put so much more time into this, as this'll be my internship from now on.

My line work has been featured in MadWomxn Magazine for the edition of Motherland. I am so happy for my work to be featured in a magazine. My welsh dragons have been paired with this poem by Lisa O'Hare, which is really beautiful.
