Mug Development

During my second week at Bottle Blonde, the owner Chloe shared her idea of graphic mugs ready for Black Friday and Christmas. As I'd expressed my love of graphics and print, Chloe let me have a go at some designs for them. Digital illustration and graphics is something I'm really keen on improving and potentially doing as a career, so I was over the moon when I was told about the mugs. I immediately started developing many prints, experimenting with different colour ways. Next, I had a look through pinterest for any quotes that could potentially be used on the mugs. I downloaded some free fonts from online, and I used the quotes along with the fonts and experimented. I put prints and quotes together, so I was left with many different variations that could be used on the mugs. Chloe also had the idea of a icon mug collection. I illustrated Cher, Kris Jenner and Britney for this collection, and they loved them!
